Paralyzed Veterans of America received over $1 million through Penske Automotive Group’s 2019 Service Matters campaign to benefit our nation’s heroes.
Since its inception in 2015, Penske Automotive Group’s Service Matters campaign has contributed over $5 million to support PVA.
In 2019, Penske Automotive Group’s dealerships encouraged customers to donate to its Service Matters campaign. To maximize the donation, Penske Automotive Group matched each donation up to $500,000.
“We thank Penske Automotive Group and their dedicated customers for supporting America’s veterans with paralysis and other disabilities,” said David Zurfluh, national president of Paralyzed Veterans of America. “The funds raised through this campaign helps Paralyzed Veterans of America provide life-changing programs and services to ensure our veterans and their families receive the benefits, accessibility, and jobs that they deserve. We are extremely grateful for this partnership with Penske Automotive Group.”
With the wonderful success of the 2019 Service Matters campaign, raising a total of $1,043,520, Penske Automotive Group will continue its partnership with PVA in 2020.
“It was an honor for Penske Automotive Group to be part of this important fundraising effort in 2019, and we are thrilled to extend our partnership with the Paralyzed Veterans of America for another year,” said Robert H. Kurnick Jr., Penske Automotive Group President. “We thank our customers and Penske employees for their continued support of the ‘Service Matters’ campaign and for embracing the admirable work performed by the Paralyzed Veterans of America. We look forward to continuing our work together in 2020 to help ensure our veterans receive the care, opportunity and support they earned by serving our country.”
